Aluminium LM6 features good all-round performance characteristics including mechanical strength, durability, corrosion resistance and flame retardancy. This low density material offers excellent resistance to corrosion due to a thin surface layer of aluminium oxide that forms when the metal is exposed to air, effectively preventing further oxidation.
